Generate a shift

In Shift scenario, choose a preset, a seed, and how many engineers and jobs, then click Generate shift. The same seed always produces the same shift, so you can share and reproduce it. Presets come from your fab's profile, for example Normal shift, Lithography crunch or Excursion / surge.

Report a job by tapping the floor

Turn on Report a job by tapping the floor, choose its type and when it's reported, then click inside a tool area. A new job appears there, every strategy re-plans, and the new job opens in the inspector. Response windows follow the preset (Fab 1 normal shift: bottleneck down 45 min, tool down 120 min; Fab 2: 40 and 120; an excursion is tighter) and a PM gets 240 min.

Take an engineer off shift

Click an engineer (on the floor plan, schedule or workforce view), then Take off shift (what-if). Every strategy re-plans without them, so you can see who absorbs their work. Restore all brings everyone back.

Plan with history-predicted durations

Plan with history-predicted durations replaces each tool-down's standard estimate with what similar past repairs actually took (from repair history), and re-plans. The panel tells you how many durations changed. On held-out repairs the prediction is about 27 minutes off on average, against about 35 for the standard estimate (Fab 1), because most symptoms describe the root cause; when a symptom doesn't, it is no better than the standard estimate. About 8 in 10 repairs fall inside its P10-P90 range, and about 9 in 10 finish by its P90.
